Welcome to FishTalesFilms.com. This site was originally activated in 2001, but my work schedule in remote dive destinations sometimes makes it difficult to maintain the site and update the content. An extreme makeover was initiated in April 2004, then it remained largely unchanged until 2009 when it was reincarnated in it's current form. When the site was redesigned, a decision was made to embrace current state of the art web technologies. As a result, this site requires a modern browser to function correctly. You should use the most current version of your favorite browser. If you experience problems, its probably because you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer. Try Firefox, Safari, Opera or at least the most current version of IE and your troubles should vanish. Several sections of the site will automatically open new browser windows. For instance, the YouTube High Definition Slide Shows and Videos, PrintRoom, and links to FishTalesPress.com and a couple of other external web sites open and scale their own windows.

Absolutely everything on this site is a copyrighted image. You may NOT under any circumstances "borrow" images from this site for any purpose without our express written permission. That being said, don't hesitate to ask if you would like to use images for another site or a publication. Charges are based on how and where the image is used. FishTalesPress.com is a spinoff site that deals specifically with issues relating to Steve's books and eBooks on underwater photography and videography related subjects. It also contains links to the sites of manufacturers of UW photo and video gear as well as links to reputable purveyors of such equipment.
